Lord of the Flies by William Golding

Dear readers,

I have finally finished reading the book the Lord of the Flies. I was to read it for an english assignment. It was a pretty good read, but not the type of book that I enjoy. William Golding put some interesting and realistic ideas into it. The Lord of the Flies showed some possible outcomes to a disastrous situation in which children must survive on their own. Some of these events were devastating but probable. I found that this book was a representation on how leaders and laws are formed. The children had crashed on an island and began to form their own rules and jobs to survive. The children were desensitized to the brutal actions the occur daily in the world. Not only were they fighting with nature to stay alive, but themselves as well. This book was overall interesting and realistic. On that note, I am going to go start reading Envy. Envy is the third book of a series by Anna Godberson. Can't wait to write about this book because she is a talented author.

Happy New Year,

Rose <3
