Novel Fancy

Dear Readers,

I seem to have been inspired to start a blog regarding novels. This is not a blog that will focus on only one book genre, but, it will touch base on many novels. I will write about romance, adventure, fantasy, fiction, and even mystery novels that I have read. Now, you might be thinking that I am somebody important. For example an English teacher who has gone to school to learn about literature, but I am not. I am just an average teenager with a passion for reading. Reading is a wonderful hobby. It allows your imagination to run wild. That is completely the reason why I enjoy it so much. I can imagine everything the way I want it to be, the architecture, the characters, the clothing, the smells, and the scenery. All these things are contributing factors to a perfect fictional getaway. So that is why I am going to start this blog.

The first book that I will write about is Lord of Flies. However, this book is not something I would have picked up at the library to read for my own pleasure. It is an assignment that I have been given in English. After I complete this book in the next few days of christmas break, I will be moving on to my own collection of novels. Although I love picking up many novels at the public library, for now I have restricted myself to read only books that I own. This is because I haven't even scratched the surface of my own novel collection. I often get ahead of myself when it comes to reading. I have borrowed Envy by Anna Godbersen from a friend for the holiday. I will eventually blog about that book series, as well as Persuasion by Jane Austen. I received Persuasion as a christmas gift from a friend of mine. It is her favorite book and I hope I can enjoy it as much as she did. So on that note I will spend my night trying to finish up Lord of the Flies in my freezing cold basement. Hopefully my heater will warm this place up soon. If not I will have to curl up with a fleece blanket and some tea to finish my novel.
